Now that we have an infant son, we no longer have the time to spend hours on the phone with Airbnb support, live in dangerous “ghost hotels” disguised as homes, or risk getting cancelled on last minute.
Unfortunately, relying on hotels for long term stays wouldn’t work for us since we need a kitchen and laundry more than ever.
Luckily (or unluckily), since we’ve had to get a long-term rental to stay around and help take care of my father-in-law over the past few years, we discovered a new platform that’s miles ahead of Airbnb and reminds me of the good ol’ days in 2012 before Airbnb became commercialized.
That platform is #HomeExchange.
